How to set a Wallpaper in Windows 7
Download the desired image to a folder of your choice. (To do this click on a link to a wallpaper image. Right-click on the image and select "Save as image as...". Choose a folder and click on save.) After saving the image, right-click on free space on the desktop (do not click on any icons) and select "Personalize" to open the configuration window. Click on "Desktop Background" on the lower left, then use the "Browse..." button to locate the folder and select the images you want to use. Click on the "Save changes" button save the background image setting.
Recommended way: directly from the browser (Firefox & Internet Explorer)
Open the desired image at full resolution (click on one of the different size options). Right-click the image once fully loaded and select "Set as Desktop Background".
How to set a Wallpaper in Windows 2000 or XP?
Follow the link for your screen resolution, right-click and select "Save Image as...". Save the image in the folder "My Pictures" and rightlick on the desktop. Click on "Properties", select the wallpaper from the list and click "Apply".
